Terms & Conditions
All rabbits must be up to date with their vaccinations against Myxomatosis and Viral Haemorrhagic Disease VHD. They also need a vaccine against VHD2 and there will need to be a two week gap between the vaccinations. Please bring the vaccination card along with you when you drop off your rabbit as we will require proof of vaccinations before boarding.
MYX/VHD Nobivac every 12 months. VHD2 Filavac every 12 months or Eravac every 12 months.
Your pet will not mix with other boarders (to minimise risk of infection) except for its own family and will be health checked daily. Therefore, we will not be held responsible for any illness such as Myxomatosis, Viral Haemorrhagic Disease (VHD), fly strike, mites or any other common disease.
Your pet should be in good health on arrival, we will check your pets health and we reserve the right to turn away a sick pet.
Payment is due 2 days before arrival by BACS, payment details will be provided upon booking.
If your pet becomes sick whilst in our care, we will attend our vets or yours. We will always try and make contact first, if we can not make contact we will make the decision to take your pet to the vets.
By signing this form you agree to pay any vets fees incurred whilst your animal is with us.
Pre-existing medical conditions must be disclosed prior to boarding and will be taken into account, veterinary advice may be sought and you must provide this information on the booking form.
If your pet is not collected within 10 days of the agreed collection date and you have not contacted us to inform us differently and we are unable to get in touch with you, we reserve the right to have your pet rehomed and legal action will be taken to reimburse boarding fees and any rehoming costs.
Your pet will receive fresh food daily, if there are any dietary requirements please disclose this information with us.
All pets should arrive in a suitable pet carrier.
All boarders will be kept indoors, especially overnight, unless when using the runs.
All boarders using the runs will be supervised at all times and will not mix with any other boarders.
Accommodation will be checked daily and appropriate cleaning and replacements of bedding materials and facilities carried out.
If your pet has been ill in the previous 30 days, you will be required to obtain a clean bill of health from your veterinary practitioner before boarding with us.
Sadly small animals can pass away with no warning or quickly despite receiving medical treatment after showing signs of illness. Should this happen, we will contact you immediately to discuss your wishes. Willow Grove Pet Boarding does not accept liability in the unlikely event that this may happen. We do not refund for any unused boarding fees and you will still be liable for any veterinary fees incurred, including cremation if needed.
All pet owners must accept that accident, injury, illness, death, theft, public liability and all other insurances for the pet owner and their animal whilst visiting and boarding with us, are the responsibility of the pet owner and that Willow Grove Pet Boarding are released of any and all such liabilities.
Cages for hamsters, gerbils, mice and rats will need to be provided by you.
We do ask that you bring your pets own dry food as changing food can upset them. If food is forgotten or not enough supplied we reserve the right to charge an additional fee.
Any viewings are by appointment only.
Willow Grove Pet Boarding will take no responsibility of any pet pregnancy as all our animals are kept separate unless otherwise stated by you.
You should be aware that there are currently no licensing requirements for small animal boarding from the local authority, however we do observe and adhere to the Animal Boarding Establishments Act 1963.
Drop off and pick up times can be flexible but you must adhere to your agreed time.
Any visits that will need to be made to the vets while staying at Willow Grove Pet Boarding will be charged £10 for our time and fuel costs.
Any vets bill will need to be paid by you, if not legal action will be taken.
All deposits are non-refundable.
When making a booking please make sure you have the correct dates, any dates taken off will not be given back and will still need to be paid for in full two days prior to arrival, please remember Willow Grove could be turning people away for no reason if you are taking days off, adding days can only be done if space is available.
If you decide to pick up earlier than the date given regardless of the reason no payment will be returned.
Any bookings made will require a £20 non-refundable deposit excluding bookings that are less than this amount, which we would then require payment in full.
If you do not feel you can comply with the terms and conditions, then unfortunately we will be unable to board your pet.
Cancellations with more than 7 days notice will incur no fee. For cancellations of 6 days or less a 50% fee will apply.
In placing a booking with Willow Grove Pet Boarding, you agree that you have read and accept our terms and conditions in full.
For all boarders a boarding contract must be signed by you, which confirms your acceptance of our terms and conditions. You will also be asked to complete a form, giving us details about your individual pet/s and their needs, routine, habits, likes and dislikes etc.
